RE: Arizona routes 117 and 60.

Route 60 from Show Low to Globe is fine. 2 lanes and for the most part an easy drive. The only area to watch for is on both sides of the Salt River Canyon. Some switchbacks and a little steep. We have never had a problem. If the river is running it is beautiful. Alan

Dick B, If it is one of our batteries and within the warranty period we will replace it for free. I would love to know why you answered his post this way.

RE: AGM Battery Charging

When it comes to gel batteries the correct way to charge them is no more than 2 amps and it can go up to 48 hours to get it correctly charged. If you have any questions, pm me. We do this everyday for a living. Alan

RE: Help !!- appropriate trailer drawbar & swaybar to purchase

I have used Equalizer for years and everything that I have towed has been no problem. It might be a little overkill for you, but better safe than sorry. Alan

RE: KOA Mesa/Apache Junction, AZ

I actually run the Interstate Batteries about 3 miles away from them. Even though we have never camped there I drive by there twice a day and it is always clean and usually during the winter it is full. Not too much help, I know but we are KOA members and I would stay there.

RE: Anyone cutting their vacation short?

Gas prices stink. When I was a kid I remember my dad getting so upset because while we were camping gas prices hit .25/gal. If everyone got rid of their rv's, would gas prices go down? I doubt it. I am sitting here at a full cg, watching people having fun with their families, and loving every minute of it. We have several more weekend trips planned, along with a 2 1/2 week trip across Texas at Christmas. With everyone cancelling their plans the campgrounds are starting to lower their rates, so even though it will not make up for the entire difference in gas prices from year to this year, it helps. Enjoy your homes and starbucks, I am enjoying the outdoors.
